Spice Organizer for Small Cabinet
Am I the only on that stores all of their spices in the small cabinet next to the stove? The way my home is setup, the pantry is just too far for me to store spices and would be a real pain walking back and forth to get them while cooking. It would be ideal to say that I would grab all the spices I needed before I started cooking but the way I cook… Let’s just say that I like to mix things up sometimes. Sounds familiar? I’m going to share a spice organizer for small cabinets.
The issue with the small cabinet is that it usually only comes with three shelves and unless you’re 6 feet it can be difficult to see and reach what you have available. That is how we end up with spices that expired three years ago and four ground cinnamon jars. There’s also the trouble of having things fall out when you’re looking for that one spice you know you have. Here’s how to fix it. There isn’t just one item that makes this solution so perfect, it’s actually four.

Spice Organizer Products for Small Cabinet

- Lazy Susan Wooden Tier Turntable
The Spice Jars
They are 8.5 oz glass jars with bamboo lids. Glass jars are a high preference because they allow the spices to bring the color and variation visually while keeping a uniform look. The bamboo lids are gorgeous and have an airtight seal to keep the contents of the jar fresh for as long as possible.
Water Resistant Spice Labels
I searched high and low for water resistant labels and these did not disappoint. We’ve used them for about a month now with no issues. They also come with blank labels for items/spices that are not listed. It includes a sheet of expiration dates for you to fill in. We placed ours on the bottom of the spices that we don’t use often.
Wooden Spoons
The spoons pictured are the same brand but slightly darker than what we have. They fit perfectly in the jars as long as the spice of herb is not filled to the top of the jar. The spoons help add the spices to your dish without having to pour over a hot skillet or pot. They are key products in spice organization for small cabinets.
Tier Turntable Lazy Susan
When looking for a spice organizer for small cabinet, this bamboo 10 inch turntable is key. They fit perfectly in the small cabinets in kitchens. The spin function allows you to easily locate spices. They can be found at Walmart but seem to be very scarce. The bamboo design fits perfectly with the lids of the jars.
