The holidays are such special times of the year but can be a little overwhelming. Decorating, shopping, cooking and family time can consume hours and hours of our day. Not to make it sound horrible because all of those thing are amazing and contribute to that holiday vibe/feeling but date nights are still needed and in my case, very much wanted. Setting quality time aside and finding things to do can be another task on top of the holiday list you already have. The good news is I’ve done to work for you. Decorate the tree together

Now this may seem simple but there’s a twist. Turn on some Christmas jams, turn off the main lights and turn on the lamps (this sets a nice mood) and break out the wine. The time will fly by as you have great conversations, recall old memories and laugh together. This is one of my favorite date nights during the holidays because it requires minimum spending and is great for those night when you don’t want to leave the house.

Go Ice Skating

There’s something about ice skating, indoors and outdoors, that feels festive. Even in the warmest winter states, indoor ice skating can be a cozy romantic date. During the holidays, the rink and surrounding areas are decorated with beautiful wreaths, green garland and lights. Dress warm and lace up those skates. It’s a great way to spend quality time together during the holidays.
