DIY GRID MIRROR
So, I participated in one of TikTok’s latest sensations and made a gigantic DIY grid mirror using IKEA’s lot mirrors. Actually, I made it twice! The first time it was almost 8 feet tall and over 3 ft wide. I painted that one black.

As for the second mirror, the steps are as follows.
After building this mirror twice I definitely know a few tips and tricks to get through it as easy as possible.
Here’s what I used:
• 1/2 inch thick plywood
•Ikea lots mirror ( they come in a pack of 4)
•3/4 inch trim
•220 grit sand paper
•Black paint (or the color of your choice)
Directions
1. Determine the size of your mirror. Sketching it out helps tremendously!
Multiply the number of spaces you have between the mirrors vertically by the size of your trim (in my case 3/4). Do the same thing horizontally. Those are your dimensions.
2. Cut your plywood down to size. I bought a 4×8 sheet and had Home Depot cut it for me.
Using one piece of wood makes things a lot easier!
3. Use your hand saw or Miter Saw to cut your trim and secure it to the frame using wood glue or brad nails.
4. Fill in the nail holes with wood filler and sand once dry using 220 grit sand paper.
5. Prime the trim and a little to the inner squares (the mirror will not cover the entire space). Then paint your desired color.
6. Add mirrors with mirror mastic and the tape included in the mirror package.
